Edzard Reuter Deposit

In the Edzard Reuter (*1928) deposit, the Foundation safeguards a valuable collection of writings that offer a fascinating insight into the life of a leading German executive. Alongside documents pertaining to his professional career, which took him to the highest position with Daimler-Benz AG (1987–1995), the deposit also contains important materials regarding his family background, his childhood and adolescence in Turkey (1935–1946), and his wide-ranging social commitment. In addition, it contains a large part of his father’s private library. Access to the deposit is subject to restrictions on use.
