Ernst Reuter in the berlinHistory app
The berlinHistory app, which has received multiple awards, allows Berliners and visitors to the city to uncover the often-hidden past of various places within the German capital. With numerous thematic layers, guided audio tours, and vivid historical images, the app provides exciting insight into the history of Berlin, which can be accessed anywhere and at any time using a smartphone.
Since July 2021, as part of the “Ernst Reuter Archives Foundation” thematic layer, 28 new locations with a connection to the life of Ernst Reuter have been added. These locations include his residences (such as the Elsengrund estate and 33 Bülowstraße) as well as many places where he worked and sites of commemoration. With contributions from Dr. Michael C. Bienert, Olivia Golab, Nora Kaschuba and Michèle Matetschk.
The berlinHistory app can be downloaded in the Apple app store and the Google Play Store .
